PRODUCT TESTING:

Radical Skincare Advanced Peptide Antioxidant Serum ($190)

IMG_5622

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Beautyfix Box. I thought this serum was pretty good, but not worth $190. I didn’t notice any radical difference in my skin. It smells nice and it absorbs quickly. It is a fairly thick serum and almost feels like a primer. I think it is nice, but I wouldn’t purchase the FULL SIZE. I wasn’t wowed by it!

COSRX Blackhead Silk Finger Balls ($4.96)

I received this product in my March 2016 3B Box. These little finger balls are so cool. You place one in warm water for two to three minutes and then slip your finger inside. You then massage onto any area you want to remove blackheads. The finger balls have a porous feel to them and they do a great job at massaging your face. I used it on my nose because that is where I have the most stubborn blackheads. It really gave my nose a great massage and I definitely noticed a slight improvement in my pores. My blackheads were slightly less noticeable. You are supposed to do this treatment 1-2 times per week. I will definitely continue using these to see if any long term effects can be observed. I am really excited about these and they are just so fun to use! Update: Make sure you are gentle when using these because my nose was so sore the next few days. I still love them though!

SkinFood Black Sugar Mask ($14.70)

IMG_6125

I received this product in my March 2016 PinkSeoul Box. This mask is definitely filled with sugar which I love. It looked like I was putting brown sugar all over my face. You leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off. I don’t know what is in this mask, but my face felt like a babies bottom after. Seriously, it was so smooth and glowing. It was so hard not to touch my face because it just felt so soft. My skin wasn’t dry at all and it didn’t irritate my face. I will definitely continue using this mask.

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 PinkSeoul Box. I really enjoyed this cleansing balm. It did a great job at removing my makeup so easily. I am a huge fan of cleansing balms and this one didn’t disappoint! It felt great and was easy to remove. It also didn’t irritate my eyes or skin at all. I will have to pick up more once I am finished with all my makeup removers.

Manna Kadar Lip Locked Lip Stain in All of Me ($24)

IMG_6154

I received this product in my March 2016 Beauty Joy Box. I have a different shade of this lip stain and I thought it was okay. However, I really loved this one. I love this shade so much more and it is so creamy. It was easy to apply and lasted a very long time. It didn’t feather and made my lips look so juicy. I am definitely a fan of this shade!

Nicka K Palette Makeup Set Perfect Ten ($3.99)

IMG_6153

I received this product in my March 2016 Tombox. I was pleasantly surprised with this palette. It is so cheap so I didn’t expect it to work at all. The swatches were pigmented but hard to apply. However, on the eyes, it was a totally different story. The eyeshadows were so pigmented and looked beautiful on the eyes. They are a bit creamy so they really stick to the eyes. In the pan, they look like they would have a ton of fallout but they don’t. They were easy to blend and I just love how the look turned out. I really can’t believe this palette is less than $4! I am beyond happy with it. They didn’t crease and lasted most of the day. I love them!

DP HUE ACV ($35)

IMG_5894

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Allure Beauty Box. This is a rinse for your hair. It is supposed to remove any buildup and junk in your hair. I actually really enjoyed this rinse. It didn’t dry out my hair like so many rinses do. My hair did feel so much cleaner and shinier after using it. It didn’t weigh my hair down or make my hair look dull. I could see myself purchasing the FULL SIZE because I really did enjoy it.

Macadamia Professional Ultra Rich Moisture Cleansing Conditioner ($10)

IMG_5895

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Allure Beauty Box. I love the scent of this conditioner! The Macadamia Professional line always smells so great. The conditioner is really moisturizing and didn’t weight my hair down at all. My hair looked healthy and shiny. I have nothing bad to say about this conditioner and I would definitely purchase the FULL SIZE if I find it on sale.

Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Powder ($35)

IMG_5897

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Allure Beauty Box. This powder was just okay for me. It is really fine and gets all through my nose. It also just seems to brush away and not do much. I used it to set my under eye concealer. I definitely don’t think that is the best use for it. I am going to try baking with it and see if I like it better. Right now, I really don’t think it is worth $35 and I just wasn’t a fan. I am going to work with it more and see if I can see a difference.

L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor in Timeless Rose ($9.99)

IMG_6059

I received this product in my March 2016 Allure Beauty Box. I was never a fan of these two step lip products because they are so drying. However, I actually didn’t mind this one. You apply the color first and wait a few seconds for it to dry. It becomes very tacky on the lips. You then apply the balm and the lips become smooth and comfortable. I love the balm and you definitely need to use it with this lip product. It really did last on my lips forever (like seriously all day). It was even hard to remove with waterproof makeup remover. I really loved this shade because it is totally an everyday shade. I now want to purchase more shades. I really like it!

Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold ($18)

IMG_5880 IMG_5881

IMG_6058

I received this product in my March 2016 Ipsy Bag. I love Pixi products and I really did enjoy this duo. The blush isn’t pigmented at all and you really have to work with it. If you want really pigmented cheeks, I would stay away from this blush. However, I do like it because it is pretty much mistake proof. Now for the highlight…it is amazing! It is such a gorgeous golden shade and looks amazing on the cheeks. It is so easy to apply and blend. It catches the light beautifully and I just can’t get enough of it. I am a huge fan of this highlighter.

I received this product in my March 2016 Ipsy Bag. This eyeshadow is so gorgeous. It looks even more beautiful on the eyes. I don’t own any shade like it and I am in love with it. It was so easy to create an everyday look. The shadow is very pigmented and lasted all day on my lids. It also blended so easily! I am going to have to pick up the palette!

Juice Beauty Green Apple Nutrient Eye Cream ($38)

IMG_5906

I received this product in my March 2016 LaRitzy Box. This product wasn’t for me. I didn’t enjoy the scent at all. It smelt foul and I just didn’t like it. It also irritated my eyes a little and stung. I didn’t notice any improvement with my under eyes. It is fairly pricey and just wasn’t my favorite eye cream. It also was really sticky and I am not a fan of sticky eye creams. I wouldn’t repurchase this.

Lippy Girl Extra Virgin Lip Gloss ($11)

IMG_5907IMG_6176

I received this product in my March 2016 LaRitzy Box. Okay, so I thought I wouldn’t like this balm because it looks like a sticky mess. Boy, was I wrong! I set it aside and was planning on just giving it away. However, I didn’t feel like wearing lipstick so I grabbed this. I am so glad I did! The gloss is amazing! It is not sticky at all! It is so moisturizing on the lips and smells like fresh oranges. It really gives the lips hydration and gives a pouty effect. I just love how it made my lips look and feel. I am a huge fan of this gloss and will be wearing it constantly. If you have been running from tube lip gloss because of the stickiness, you might want to think again.

Modern Mineral Infused Eyeshadow Spheres ($16)

IMG_6056

I received this product in my March 2016 LaRitzy Box. I love the packaging of this eyeshadow so much. It is a little round ball (it is very small). The eyeshadow is a loose pigment. It is such a perfect transition shade and blends so easily. I love Modern Minerals products and this one didn’t disappoint. It really helps blend my other eyeshadows as well and creates gorgeous looks. They also have shimmery shades that I have my eye on. I really enjoyed this product! It actually isn’t too messy and is very easy to use! Overall, a great product!
