PRODUCT TESTING:

Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick in Heat Wave Ruby ($22)

I received this product in my February 2016 Glossybox. I really love the color so much and it could work for any season. The packaging is also to die for! However, the formula is just okay. I found it messy and a little difficult to apply evenly. It isn’t worth $22 in my opinion. It does wear a decent amount of time, but it flakes off. It is also very, very drying so you need to wear a balm underneath. I love the color, but wouldn’t repurchase because I am not a huge fan of the formula.

Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Trio in Filter ($28)

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Featured Birchbox. I was really impressed with these shadows. They are really pigmented and buttery. They also blend like a dream. I really need to pick up more of these. The only shade that wasn’t as pigmented is the vanilla shade. I had to apply it with my finger to really get it to show up. However, it is such a great blending shade. I love how the look turned out using this trio and I will definitely continue to use it. It is going to be my go to everyday look.

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream ($27.50)

IMG_5543

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Featured Birchbox. I have heard so many people talking about Kiehl’s and don’t recall ever trying them. This was a very small sample, but you don’t need a ton of product. Therefore, I will get a few uses from this sample. This cream has no scent which I really enjoyed. It felt amazing on my skin and really hydrated my face. I was most impressed that it really calmed my face and gave me a bit of a glow. It sinks in so quickly and is one of the best face creams I have ever used. I really think I am going to have to purchase the FULL SIZE immediately. I have a ton of face creams to test and it is going to be so hard to pull away from this one.

Wilma Schumann Hydrating Collagen Eye Pads ($18)

IMG_5599IMG_5758

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Featured Birchbox. I love these eye pads because they always feel so refreshing on the skin. I couldn’t wait to try these. I must say these are the first eye pads I have ever tried that I actually see a benefit to using them (besides feeling refreshed). They are a thick gel like consistency and are very easy to apply. However, they tend to move around a bit so you really have to relax your face. I left them on for 20 minutes and after my eyes look so refreshed and hydrated. They also looked so smooth and my dark circles were less noticeable. They also really depuffed my eyes. I am going to have to keep these on hands because I loved them.

I received this product in my Luxepineapple The Weekend Essentials Box. I am obsessed with this blush. The color is so gorgeous and looks beautiful on my skin. I was so impressed at how pigmented it is and it blends beautifully. It is so easy to apply and I am just so excited about it. It lasted all day and I didn’t have to touch up. I definitely need to pick up more shades. It is amazing!

LuxePineapple Winter Glow ($10)

I received this product in my Luxepineapple The Weekend Essentials Box. It can be worn as an eye shadow or a highlight. I have worn it as a highlight and I love it. It really lasts all day and looks beautiful on the skin. It looks great on my pale skin and would totally look gorgeous on tan and darker skin tones. This shade is really universal and I can’t wait to try it on my eyes as well. I am a huge fan of the formula and the flecks of gold shimmer. Stunning!

I am definitely going to have to pick up more shades. They are just stunning. I really loved creating looks with this eye shadow and love how they turned out.

D’RAN Aqua Wonder Intensive Renewing Essence ($34)

IMG_5564IMG_5731

I received this product in my March 2016 Mishibox. I love trying Asian skincare products. They are so cute and work so well. I really enjoyed this face lotion (or really face gel). It felt really refreshing on the skin and gave my skin instant hydration. I don’t know if I would repurchase because it isn’t easy to find and it is a bit pricey. However, I will continue to use it. I really love the packaging and the gel didn’t break me out. It also doesn’t have a strong smell which is very nice.

I received this product in my March 2016 Mishibox. I love the little mermaid on the front! How darling? I actually really enjoyed this sheet mask. It was really refreshing and fit really well. I left it on my skin for 20 minutes and my skin looked refreshed, plumped, and hydrated after. I have nothing bad to say about this mask and I will definitely purchase another.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua ($21)

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Glossybox. I really love the Melted formula. It is matte but creamy at the same time. They are so comfortable to wear and my lips don’t feel like a desert. This is such a flattering shade and would look great on any skin tone. I am a huge fan of it and it is quickly becoming my go to lip shade. It lasted a long time on my lips and fades nicely. I am a huge fan of these and will definitely purchase more.

EYEKO Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner ($19)

IMG_5613

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Glossybox. I really how black this eyeliner is. I have been enjoying felt tip eyeliners lately. They are really easy to work with and are perfect for beginners. The only negative I have about this eyeliner is that the tip isn’t very flexible. I really love felt tip eyeliners that have a flexible tip because they don’t tug at the eyes. They help to create a perfect line. However, they one can be a bit patchy and you have to work with it. I don’t think I will repurchase because it wasn’t my favorite. However, I will continue using it because it does last on the eyes.

Onesta Volumizing Shampoo ($16.95) & Conditioner ($17.95)

IMG_5614

I received this product (sample) in my March 2016 Glossybox. This shampoo and conditioner were just okay. They didn’t hydrate my hair as well as I like. The did give my hair some volume, but nothing amazing. I felt like my hair was really dry after using them. I had to apply a leave-in conditioner to help with the dryness. They smell pretty nice and have a very natural scent. I will use up these samples, but I won’t be purchasing the full sizes.

Coola SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray ($36)

IMG_5600

I received this product (sample) in my 2nd March 2016 Birchbox. I love Coola products and love their packaging. I did enjoy this setting spray. It sprayed nice and evenly on my face. I did notice that it helped prolong the wear of my makeup. The smell isn’t my favorite (totally herbal), but it doesn’t linger. I love herbal scents but not in a makeup setting spray. It is a bit sticky on the hands, but doesn’t feel stick on the face. Overall, I enjoyed this setting spray but I don’t believe I will repurchase.
